Jessie is the most amazing girl ever! She is one of those people that you are so lucky to meet in life that is just so wonderful and patient, someone that you know just loves what they do, by the way they treat your children!
We met Jessie when her older sister Holly was teaching Ash & Chan private swim lessons, Holly called me and asked if her sister could come and help out with the girls. I think she was 13 or 14, my girls loved her instantly!
Which is why I share this post.
Jessie has been our swim teacher for most of the kids' lives.. Jensen and Anz have never had anyone else teach them. When we found out we were going to be so lucky to have her back this year, all of the kids wanted to go back and have her teach them. Even the older girls!
Jessie was so nice to help Ash get a shoe in at the pool and she will be able to teach there next year.
Swimming is a very important life skill, and I owe it to Jessie for teaching my children how to swim. :)
Anz is the energizer bunny's biggest competitor, so to try to get her to listen for very long is a challenge. So I thought teaching Anzleigh how to swim was going to be a challenge from the start, but Jessie has been so patient with all of them, and is so good at what she does.
I have watched her grow up over the past 6 years, infact she is getting married this year! So this was our last year to have her as our swim teacher. What ever shall we do??
We love her and will miss her!
Thank you so much Jessie!!
So on the last day of lessons Anz had about 100 things she had in mind to do for Jessie to thank her for being such a good teacher. Jessie and Anz share the same birthday and last year Anz made a card for Jessie and I never got it off, so Anz helped me make her a GIANT cupcake..it wasn't the most beautiful cupcake but it was definitely made with LOTS OF LOVE!!
I am so happy and excited to announce that I started my hair blog today!! I have had this dream of starting a blog to teach hair do's for years now!! So head over and check it out! I have TONS of ideas and fun things to share! I am so excited about it!!! :)
This year we decided to do a Schow Sibling Reunion. It was fun to get the kids together and let them spend time with each other. Where I am the only one of us that does not live in Utah we don't have the opportunity to see each other very often. We went to Warm River, it is so beautiful there. The fishing is good and the tubing is fun! I am usually so good about packing my camera everywhere and taking tons of pictures, but I left it in the 5th wheel almost the whole weekend..I had such big plans of getting tons of pictures too but I didn't so this is what I've got!! Bryce floating the river with Blayre
Blayre enjoyed sharing her baby bottle pop with Jayda...she is slowly learning how to share! It was fun to have Jayda around because Blayre was finding out really fast that she isn't a baby! She doesn't like that concept so much!
This picture is one of my most favorites!! Aubrey is the most beautiful, classy momma!! baby Jayda didn't want to get in the stroller..her little pouty face is so cute!! and I put piggy's in her hair and it was SOOO CUTE!!! Blayre hated her feet getting dirty, she couldn't quite figure out that her feet had to be dry so they wouldn't pick up dirt..so she sat there with her feet in the bucket to keep them clean! funny girl! Ash playing volleyball on her spare time!! shocker I know!! haha!
Blayre looking through the deck into the water hoping to catch a glimpse of some fish! She loved the fish!
We had a very relaxing 4th, we went up to Heise and just hung out for the day with friends of ours and had a bbq and watched the fire works! The girls decided to take the camera and do some photos of each other! haha..so lucky for me they took most of these pictures! I am so thankful for this Country and the freedom that we enjoy, and for the men and women who risk their lives every day for these freedoms. We are all so lucky that have the opportunity to live in this AMAZING land!!
"To you women of today, who are old or young, may I suggest to you that you write, that you keep journals, that you express your thoughts on paper. Writing is a great discipline. It is a tremendous education effort. It will assist you in various ways, and you will bless the lives of many--now and in the years to come, as you put on paper some of your experiences and some of your musings." --President Gordon B. Hinckley
